We are a team of active, professional women who have the passion, determination, innovation, courage and commitment to give something back to our less fortunate sisters and girls.

Who can join?

Our membership includes professional women from all types of disciplines and fields:  professors, entrepreneurs, accountants, bankers, administrators, engineers, educators, communication experts, lawyers, designers, marketing executives, development specialists, medical and health professionals, and scientists.

The main branch, Graduate Women (Fiji) or GWF, is based in Suva. We also have a GWF Western branch based in Lautoka for our members who live there and surrounding areas.

Members

GWF is looking for women who have graduated in their particular discipline and will accept cases of women currently studying and whom will be graduating in due course.

Full membership (Graduates)

Based on a degree or equivalent from a recognised university or institution of comparable academic standing. The annual subscription fee is F$35.00.

Associate membership (Certificate and Diploma holders)

Based on qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution. The annual fee is F$20.00.

Volunteers

Graduate Women (Fiji) or GWF is looking for VOLUNTEERS. Here’s what you get if you do:

  • Learn goal-setting, planning, training, management, communications and budgeting skills
  • Valuable voluntary work experience in different areas like logistics, event management, basic web content development, social media marketing and leadership
  • Boost your career options and get recommendations by tapping the vast network of professional women from different fields
  • Meet a diverse range of people and make new friends
  • Help out other less fortunate sisters and girls by fundraising for the GWF Scholarship Fund

The Volunteer Programme duration is a year after which the volunteer receives:

A Certificate as proof of participation

A Letter of Recommendation on official GWF letterhead with the number of volunteer hours and a description of the experience and skills learned.
